Whenever it is desirable to connect existing plumbing with the city water system, the owner or plumber doing the work shall notify the City Building Inspector who will inspect the plumbing and notify the owner or plumber what alterations will be necessary to place the plumbing in an acceptable condition for connection with the water system. An owner or plumber shall make the connections in conformity with the Florida Building Code - Plumbing, as amended from time to time, as adopted by reference under § 150.03.
