(A) The regular city election shall be held on the first Tuesday following the first Monday in November of each year.
(B) The Mayor shall issue a proclamation calling the municipal elections provided for in this chapter. The proclamation shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the city once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the municipal election.
