§ 30.81 MEMBERSHIP.
   The Historical Commission shall consist of seven members, five of whom shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Mayor and City Commission. Two members shall be appointed by the Historical Commission and ratified by the Mayor and City Commission. All appointments/reappointments shall be for a three-year term.
   (A)   The members shall serve three year terms to run concurrently with the calendar year.
   (B)   One or more members of the City Commission may be selected to serve as members of the Historical Commission.
   (C)   In selecting citizens to serve on the Historical Commission, the Mayor and City Commission shall consider the interest of such citizens in the history and cultural lore and development of Lake Mary.
   (D)   The chairman and officers of the Historical Commission shall be elected by the Lake Mary Historical Commission.
   (E)   The members of the Historical Commission shall receive no compensation.
