The Code Enforcement Board shall consist of seven members to be appointed by the City Commission. The members of the Board shall be residents of the municipality and appointments to the Board shall be in accordance with the terms of applicable law on the basis of experience or interest in the subject matter jurisdiction of the Code Enforcement Board; and whenever possible, the membership shall include architects, businessmen, attorneys, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and realtors.
