There shall be a Finance Director appointed by the City Manager and approved by the City Commission, who shall represent the City in all financial proceedings and perform such other duties assigned by this charter, the City Manager, the City Commission or by law. The Finance Director, through the City Manager, shall keep the Commission fully advised of and make recommendations as to the financial condition and future financial needs of the City.
