For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
BOAT TRAILERS. Any single or multi-axle trailer designed and/or used for transporting a boat, speedboat, sailboat, rowboat, canoe(s), kayak(s), raft(s), jet ski(s), or water cruiser over a highway as the same is defined in M.S. § 168.011, Subd. 3, as it may be amended from time to time, and otherwise requiring a license and/or registration under M.S. §§ 168.011 et seq., as they may be amended from time to time.

MOTOR VEHICLE. Any self-propelled motor vehicle or other vehicle on wheels which would ordinarily travel on public streets.
OWNER. Includes any person, firm, association, or corporation owning, renting, or having charge of a motor vehicle.
RESIDENT. Any person or persons occupying and claiming as their principal domicile a residential property within the city. The listed address on that person's driver's license shall be conclusive evidence of his or her resident status for the purposes of this subchapter.

SNOW-REMOVAL PERIOD. A period of time of no more than 48 hours after each snowfall, except that the SNOW-REMOVAL PERIOD shall be deemed to have terminated on those streets on which snow has been removed if the removal has been completed in a period of time less than 48 hours.
STREET. Any city right-of-way, street, avenue, or other public way.
