Except as hereinafter provided, the provisions of M.S. Chapter 168 on vehicle registration, taxation and sale; the Highway Traffic Regulation Act, being M.S. Chapter 169; and M.S. §§ 160.27, 171.02, 171.03, 171.04, 171.05, 171.08, 171.11, 171.22, and 171.24, as they may be amended from time to time, shall be applicable and in full force and effect in the city, and the same are hereby adopted by reference.
