Except as is provided in § 130.01, no person shall, within the corporate limits of the city, use, take aim, or discharge any weapon, gun, bow, or catapult, including but not limited to any pellet gun, air rifle/pistol, compound bow, crossbow, atlatl, or any other similar device intended or capable of being used for the launching of pellets, shots, bullets, arrows, darts, spears, or other projectiles, whether the devices use explosive or chemical reactions, elastic, spring, or physical or mechanical advantage, compressed fluid, compressed air, or any other energy or force to achieve the discharge.
