§ 2.44.020 APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF AND OFFICERS.
   The Chief of Police shall be appointed by the City Manager and shall serve at the pleasure of the City Manager. The City Manager shall designate the number of police officers as may from time to time be deemed necessary for the safety and good order of the city.
