In addition to, and to the extent it does not conflict with, any process outlined in a national or international code adopted by this chapter, a violation of this chapter may be enforced and penalties assessed in accordance with Chapter 1.12 of this code. The Building Code Official or designee is authorized to enforce this chapter.
