A. All requests to examine or for copies of public records will be submitted to the City Clerk's office on a form provided by the City Clerk.
B. Charges.
1. Public records may be examined free of charge at the City Clerk’s office or the office where the records are maintained during regular office hours.
2. Charges for copies of public records shall be assessed in accordance with Chapter 3.20 of the Lake Havasu Code, except for records that are to be provided free of charge as identified in A.R.S. §§ 39-101, et seq.
3. The requestor may not divide their request into numerous smaller requests in order to avoid reimbursing the city for the cost of providing copies of public documents.
4. Depending on the estimated cost of production, a deposit may be required prior to the completion of the request.
