As used in this chapter, the following words shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, unless the context clearly dictates to the contrary.
A. BB GUN. Any device which uses compressed air, compressed carbon dioxide or mechanical action to expel a projectile, BB or pellet.
B. SLINGSHOT. Either a device which throws a stone, water balloon or other projectile by means of centrifugal force or a forked device with a band of elastic material attached to each tine of the fork, or any similar devices or arrangement used to shoot stones, water balloons or other projectiles.
