A. The provisions of this chapter shall apply to all new water customers and all water customers existing prior to the enactment date of this code.
B. Backflow prevention assemblies installed prior to enactment of this code, and which do not comply with the requirements set forth in this division, shall be replaced with assemblies which comply with the standards set forth herein.
