Pursuant to code of Lake Havasu City § 1.08.010, any person found guilty of violating any provision of this water allocation and management program shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not to exceed $1,000, or by imprisonment for a period not to exceed 6 months, or by both the fine and imprisonment. Each day that a violation continues shall be a separate offense punishable as hereinabove described. In addition, the city may take such other action as may be appropriate in responding to a violation hereof, including but not limited to the termination of water service or capping of unauthorized wells.
