§ 5.08.040 APPLICATION.
   A.   Applicants for a license under this chapter shall fill out an application for peddler, solicitor, or transient merchant license in its entirety, including 2 passport size photographs with application submittal, and pay the required fees at the time of application. Within 10 business days of application submittal, each applicant will be advised if further information is required.
   B.   Each applicant for a peddler’s, solicitor’s, and transient merchant’s license with city shall submit a full set of fingerprints to the Police Department. The fingerprints shall be submitted to the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS). DPS is authorized to provide state and federal criminal history record information to city pursuant to A.R.S. § 41-1750 and Public Law 92-544 to evaluate the fitness of these license applicants. DPS may exchange this fingerprint data with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
