§ 3.10.020.2 EMERGENCY PURCHASES.
   The city may enter into a contract without complying with the requirements for competitive solicitation if an emergency exists. The City Manager may award contracts for emergency purchases less than or equal to $50,000. If the contract is for more than $50,000, the City Manager may award the contract and the contract shall be submitted to the City Council at the next meeting of the City Council.
