Any person or entity that violates any section of this chapter shall be punished according to the laws of the state. A violation of this chapter shall constitute a misdemeanor. Each day that the person maintains a temporary or permanent residence (or in which the land owner rents or leases to a designated offender) shall constitute a separate offense.
