For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ABANDONED VEHICLES. Any vehicle that has been left on a public street, alley or on public land for a period of not more than 48 hours.
JUNK VEHICLE. Any vehicle that is required to be licensed by the State of Minnesota and is not current in those licensing requirements. It shall also include any vehicle that is not in operable condition, or which is used for parts, or is kept for dismantling, scrapping or salvage of any kind.
PERSON. A person shall be any natural person, corporation, limited liability company, limited liability partnership, firm or association.
VEHICLE. Any device in, upon or by which any person or property may be transported or drawn upon a roadway except for devices solely moved by human power or those that are medically necessary.
