(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to cause the placement of United States mailboxes within the right-of-way of any public street improved with curb and gutter and paving at a location where the public street abuts upon platted property within the city.
(B) Any person violating any provision of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by § 10.99.
