(A) All sidewalks to be hereafter constructed in the city shall be constructed in all respects as herein provided, all sidewalks shall be constructed of stone, brick or cement.
(B) On Main Street between Robinson Street and Blue Earth Street, the sidewalk shall be 12 feet wide and constructed of stone or cement; and on Humphrey Street from Murphy Street to Lincoln Street the sidewalk shall be ten feet wide and constructed of stone or cement; and all other sidewalks in the city, except as hereinbefore mentioned shall be five feet wide and constructed of stone, cement or brick.
(C) All sidewalks constructed in the city shall slope towards the street at the rate of two inches in 12 feet. All brick used shall be good hard arch brick and all stone shall be sawed stone or bush-hammered stone and shall present a smooth and even surface and the stones shall not be less than three inches thick.
(D) All sidewalks shall be built upon the established grade of the street, provided that the line or grade of any sidewalk, as heretofore or hereafter established, may be, by direction of the City Council, changed at any time and any sidewalk that may have been constructed in accordance with any previously established line or grade may be required by the City Council to be changed or to be rebuilt at any other grade or line.
(E) All sidewalks and crossings hereafter constructed in the city shall be constructed under the supervision of the City Council.
(F) All sidewalks heretofore constructed or that may be hereafter constructed in the city, in the discretion of the City Council, may be condemned, as required by law, and to be reconstructed according to the provision and regulations of this section; and all sidewalks shall be built or repaired at a time as the City Council may direct and all sidewalks in the city shall be constructed or repaired at the expense of the owners of the property adjacent thereto; and all sidewalks shall be built or repaired within ten days after notice from the City Council, to so build or repair, is served on the owners of the property adjacent thereto.
(G) Any person violating the provision of this section shall, on conviction thereof, be subject to § 10.99.
