§ 74.10 MINIMUM AGE OF OPERATOR.
   (A)   No person under the age of 14 years shall operate a snowmobile on any public land or water in the city.
   (B)   A person 14 years of age or older, but less than 18 years of age, may operate a snowmobile on streets and roadways as permitted under this section, and make a direct crossing of the streets and roadways only if he or she has in his or her immediate possession a valid snowmobile safety certificate issued by the Commissioner of the Department of Natural Resources, and then only for purposes of travel between his or her home (or home location of the snowmobile) and at a point outside the city, or to an area within the city designated as a snowmobile area.
   (C)   This travel must be accomplished by the shortest distance, taking the most direct route while complying with applicable laws.
