(A) Authorization to operate a motorized golf cart is by permit only, which permit shall be authorized to persons with a valid driver’s license as defined in M.S. § 171.02, as it may be amended from time to time.
(B) Authorization to operate a motorized golf cart is by permit only, which permit shall be authorized to physically handicapped persons as defined in M.S. § 169.345, Subd. 2, as it may be amended from time to time.
(C) The maximum occupancy of a golf cart shall be one person per seat. Persons may not ride in or on areas not designated as a seat (e.g., the baggage/storage area that is typical on most golf carts shall not be used as a passenger area).
