For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ACCOUNT. A record of the electric, water, sewer and refuse collection services used by each property and the periodic costs for the same.
CITY UTILITY SYSTEM. Facilities used for providing public utility service owned or operated by city or an agency thereof (Lake Crystal Municipal Utilities), including electricity, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and water services.
ELECTRIC SERVICE SYSTEM. Electric transmission, distribution and service lines, fixtures, meters and all necessary equipment and appurtenances owned or operated by Lake Crystal Municipal Utilities for the purpose of providing electric services for public or private use.
PROPERTY OWNER. The person or persons listed on the property tax statement.
UTILITY RATE SCHEDULE. A schedule of all utility rates and charges set by resolution of the city and resolution of Lake Crystal Municipal Utilities.
WATERWORKS SYSTEM. Water and sewer transmission pipes, lines, fixtures, meters and all necessary equipment and appurtenances owned or operated by Lake Crystal Municipal Utilities for the purpose of providing water and sewer services for public or private use.
