(A) The Mayor shall call the first meeting of the Commission for a convenient date and time in the month of January, and the Commission shall select from its membership a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson and Secretary. The Commission shall keep a public record of the deliberations and actions of the Commission.
(B) The Chairperson shall preside at meetings, have a vote thereon, and exercise the functions usually devolving upon the presiding officer of similar bodies.
