Pursuant to authorization of state statutes, the salary of the Mayor of the city is hereby established at an amount as set by City Council from time to time and the salary of each Council member is hereby established at at amount as set by the City Council from time to time. The salary shall be paid for participation in the normal and regular duties of the Mayor and Council members, including attendance at regularly scheduled and special City Council meetings.
