§ 154.283 CHANGE OF USE PERMIT.
   (A)   A change of use permit, to be issued by the Plan Commission Secretary or his or her designated agent, shall be required prior to undertaking the following:
      (1)   Change in use of any existing building; and
      (2)   Any change in the use of a nonconforming use or building.
   (B)   Before granting a change of use permit, the Plan Commission Secretary shall ascertain that the proposed use conforms with all provisions of this chapter. When changing the use of an existing building to a classification requiring additional parking, the petitioner shall provide parking as required by this chapter.
   (C)   A zoning fee in accordance with the following shall be paid when making application for a change of use permit.
      (1)   The fee for a change in use of an existing building or structure requiring no building permit is $25.
      (2)   If a building permit is required, the fee will be established by that permit.
