(A) Nothing in this subchapter shall limit the power of a political subdivision to regulate the quality and the character of work performed by contractors through the enforcement of building codes and inspections within its boundaries.
(B) State licensed plumbers and well diggers shall pay a fee as prescribed by this subchapter for a license authorizing them to perform work in the unincorporated areas of Lake County, Indiana.
