The Commissioners shall have the qualifications prescribed by I.C. 36-7-14-1 et seq., and shall exercise and enjoy the rights and powers and assume the duties and obligations conferred and imposed by I.C. 36-7-14-1 et seq. The Commissioners shall receive no salaries, but shall be entitled to reimbursement for any expenses necessarily incurred in the performance of their duties.
