Pursuant to the authority of I.C. 36-2-3.5-5(b)(6) and I.C. 36-7-14-3, there is created the Department of Redevelopment of the county, which shall be entitled to exercise all of the rights, powers, privileges, and immunities accorded to the Department by I.C. 36-7-14-1 through 36-7-14-40. The Department of Redevelopment shall also be entitled to exercise any rights, powers, privileges, and immunities which may be added to I.C. 36-7-14-1 et seq. by amendment or revision.
