The Sheriff, or his or her duly authorized personnel, shall have the right to inspect any alarm system on the premises where it is intended to be used, both prior to and subsequent to the issuance of a permit, at reasonable times to determine whether a permit should be granted, and whether it is being used in conformity with the terms of the permit and the provisions of this chapter.
