§ 93.04 NOISE CAUSED BY MOTOR VEHICLES.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to cause the sound pressure level of the noise emitted during the operation of a light motor vehicle to exceed 80 dBA in speed zones of 35 mph or less within unincorporated Lake County. The sound pressure level measurements shall be made at a distance of not less than 15 feet from the edge of the lane of travel of the violator.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a light motor vehicle which causes excessive noise as a result of a defective or modified rapid acceleration, de-acceleration, engine revving, or tire squealing.
