§ 50.18 DEFECTS, CORRECTION BY OWNER.
   (A)   Should any defect exist or occur in any private sewage disposal system or privy which would cause the sewage disposal system or privy to fail to meet the requirements in §§ 50.16 and 50.17, and cause an insanitary condition, the defect shall be corrected immediately by the owner or agent of the owner, occupant, or agent of the occupant. Failure to do so shall be subject to the penalties prescribed in § 50.99.
   (B)   A defective operating or inoperable private sewage disposal system must be repaired or replaced in an approved manner as required for initial construction of a private sewage disposal system as required by the State Board of Health including but not limited to 410 I.A.C. 6-8.1.
