§ 37.259 LAKE COUNTY RECORDER’S ENHANCED ACCESS FUND, A NON- REVERTING FUND.
   (A)   The Lake County Recorder's Enhanced Access Fund, a non-reverting fund is hereby established to receive those fees received by the Recorder for the above-described provisions of enhanced public access to public records under said Recorder's charge.
   (B)   The Fund shall be a dedicated Fund and the monies deposited therein shall be used (i) for the replacement, improvement, and expansion of capital expenditures in the Lake County Recorder's Office, and/or (ii) for the reimbursement of operating expenses incurred in providing enhanced access to public information by the Lake County Recorder's Office.
   (C)   Pursuant to I.C. 36-2-5-2(b), the Lake County fiscal body shall appropriate all money to be paid out of the Fund, except as otherwise provided by law.
   (D)   Any money remaining in the Fund at the end of the year shall not revert to any other fund but continues in the Lake County Recorder's Enhanced Access Fund.

   On June 14, 2011, Ordinance No. 1336E, the Ordinance Establishing the Lake County Recorder's Enhanced Access Fund, a Non-Reverting Fund was adopted. On April 12, 2022, Ordinance No. 1336E was repealed and rescinded by Ordinance No. 1459C-9, the ordinance repealing and rescinding dormant funds.
