(A) The Lake County Sheriff's Domestic Cannabis Eradication and Suppression Program (DCE/SP) Grow Seizure Reward Grant Fund, a non-reverting fund, is established for the deposit of funds received from the Indiana State Police Department's Domestic Cannabis Eradication and Suppression Program to be used for Lake County Police Officer's operational overtime, training, supplies, and equipment that will be required for officers to safely identify and investigate the illegal possession and cultivation of marijuana.
(B) Pursuant to I.C. 36-2-5-2(b), the Lake County fiscal body shall appropriate all money to be paid out of the Fund, except as otherwise provided by law.
(C) Any money remaining in the Fund at the end of the year shall not revert to any other fund but continues in the Lake County Sheriff's Domestic Cannabis Eradication and Suppression Program (DCE/SP) Grow Seizure Reward Grant Fund, a non-reverting fund.
