(A) The Lake County Council hereby establishes the Prosecutor’s Violence Against Women STOP Grant Fund, Fund No. 335-0800, a non-reverting fund (the “Fund”).
(B) All monies received from the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute STOP Grant, Award #STOP-2019-00027, shall be deposited in the Fund, and appropriated for the purposes specified by the grant, and shall be administered by the Lake County Prosecutor’s Victim Engagement Services Advocacy (VESA) Program.
(C) Pursuant to I.C. 36-2-5-2(b), the Lake County fiscal body shall appropriate all money to be paid out of the Fund, except as otherwise provided by law.
(D) Any money remaining in the Fund at the end of the year shall not revert to the General Fund but shall remain in the Prosecutor’s Violence Against Women STOP Grant Fund, Fund No. 335-0800, a non-reverting Fund, subject to appropriation by the Lake County Council.
