§ 37.205 PUBLIC DEFENDERS’ MENTAL HEALTH AND ADDICTION FORENSIC TREATMENT GRANT FUND, A NON- REVERTING FUND.
   (A)   The Lake County Council now establishes the Public Defender's Mental Health and Addiction Forensic Treatment Grant Fund a non-reverting fund, established for the deposit of $50,190 received from the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute's Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant and to be used to hire a case manager to assist in screening and identifying clients with mental health and addition issues, and assist public defenders in preparing plans for diversion: sentencing and re-entry as follows: Travel - $490; Equipment - $1,500; Supplies & Operating Expenses - $3,200; Consultant/Case Manager - $45,000.
   (B)   Appropriations from the Fund shall be subject to approval by the Lake County Council, or as otherwise provided by law.
   (C)   Any money remaining in the Fund at the end of the year shall not revert to the General Fund but continue in the Public Defender's Mental Health and Addiction Forensic Treatment Grant Fund, subject to appropriation by the Lake County Council, or as otherwise provided by law.
