(A) Election to receive deposits. The County Council hereby elects to receive deposits from the Department of Correction in accordance with I.C. 11-12-6.
(B) Election to receive deposits as Level 3 Funding. The County Council hereby elects to receive such deposits at Level 3 Funding.
(C) Established. There is hereby created a County Corrections Fund. The fund shall consist of deposits received from the Department of Correction in accordance with I.C. 11-12-6.
(D) Use of funds, non-reverting fund. The County Corrections Fund may be used only for funding the operation of the county jail, jail pro-only for funding the operation of the county jail, jail programs, or other local correctional facilities. Any money remaining in a County Correctional Fund at the end of the year does not revert to any other fund but remains in the County Corrections Fund.
