§ 131.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   General. Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99.
   (B)   Curfew.
      (1)   Any person who violates or assists in the violation of any provision of §§ 131.01 through 131.04 shall be deemed to have committed an ordinance violation and shall be fined as set forth below. Each 24 hour period in which, or during which, a violation occurs shall constitute a separate offense.
      (2)   Lake County Sheriff's Office Citation filed in Circuit Court. If the ordinance violation is cited for enforcement before the 19th Judicial Circuit, the fine amount shall be as follows:
         (a)   The first violation of §§ 131.01 through 131.04 shall be punishable by a fine of no less than $250.
         (b)   A second violation of §§ 131.01 through 131.04 by the same person, within a 12 month period shall be punishable by a fine of no less than $500.
         (c)   A third or subsequent violation of §§ 131.01 through 131.04 by the same person, within a 12 month period shall be punishable by a fine of no less than $750.
      (3)   Lake County Administrative Adjudication Citation of Violation. If the ordinance violation is cited for enforcement through the Lake County Administrative Adjudication Process, the minimum fine amount shall be $115 for each violation.
   (C)   Social events. Any person who violates or assists in the violation of any provision of §§ 131.15 through 131.18 shall be deemed to have committed an ordinance violation and shall be fined not more than $1,000 for each violation. Each 24-hour period on which, or during which, a violation occurs shall constitute a separate offense. The first violation of this section shall be punishable by a fine of no less than $250. A second violation of this section by the same parent or person, within a 12-month period, shall be punishable by a fine of no less than $750. A third or subsequent violation of this section by the same parent or person, within a 12-month period, shall be punishable by a fine of $1,000.

   (D)   Truancy.
      (1)   Any person who violates or assists in the violation of any provision of §§ 131.30 through 131.32 shall be deemed to have committed an ordinance violation and shall be fined as set forth below. Each 24 hour period in which, or during which, a violation occurs shall constitute a separate offense.
      (2)   Lake County Sheriff's Office Citation. If the ordinance violation is cited for enforcement before the 19th Judicial Circuit, the fine amount shall be as follows:
         (a)   Truants under ten years of age: The parent, guardian or custodian of the truant is subject to a fine or community service, or both.
            1.   Fine for first offense: Not to exceed $50.
            2.   Fine for second and subsequent offenses: Not to exceed $100.
         (b)   Truants between the age of ten and under 17 are subject to the following fines:
            1.   Fine for first offense: Not to exceed $50.
            2.   Fine for second offense and subsequent offenses: Not to exceed $100.
         (c)   Persons over the age of 18 who contribute to truancy and violate their parental responsibility (§ 131.31(B)) shall be deemed to have committed an ordinance violation and shall be fined as set forth below. Each 24 hour period in which, or during which, a violation occurs shall constitute a separate offense.
            1.   The first violation of this section shall be punishable by a fine of no less than $250.
            2.   A second violation of this section by the same parent or person, within a 12 month period shall be punishable by a fine of no less than $500.
            3.   A third or subsequent violation of this section by the same parent or person, within a 12 month period shall be punishable by a fine of no less than $750.
         (d)   Persons over the age of 18 who contribute to truancy shall be deemed to have committed an ordinance violation and are subject to the following fines:
            1.   Fine for first offense: Not to exceed $50.
            2.   Fine for second offense and subsequent offenses: Not to exceed $100.
      (3)   Lake County Administrative Adjudication Citation of Violation. If the ordinance violation is cited for enforcement through the Lake County Administrative Adjudication Process, the fines shall be as follows:
         (a)   Truants under ten years of age: The parent, guardian or custodian of the truant is subject to a fine:
            1.   Fine for first offense: $50.
            2.   Fine for second and subsequent offenses: $100.
         (b)   Truants between the age of ten and under 17 are subject to the following fines:
            1.   Fine for first offense: $50.
            2.   Fine for second offense and subsequent offenses: $100.
         (c)   Persons over the age of 18 who contribute to truancy by violating their parental responsibility (§ 131.31(B)) shall be deemed to have committed an ordinance violation and shall be fined:
            1.   The first violation of this section shall be punishable by a fine of $115. If the citation is contested the hearing officer can assess a maximum fine of $1,000.
            2.   A second violation of this section by the same parent or person, within a 12 month period shall be punishable by a fine of $215. If the citation is contested the hearing officer can assess a maximum fine of $1,000.
            3.   A third or subsequent violation of this section by the same parent or person, within a 12 month period shall be punishable by a fine of $315. If the citation is contested the hearing officer can assess a maximum fine of $1,000.
         (d)   Persons over the age of 18 who contribute to truancy shall be deemed to have committed an ordinance violation and are subject to the following fines:
            1.   Fine for first offense: Not to exceed $50.
            2.   Fine for second offense and subsequent offenses: Not to exceed $100.
