It is the policy of the county not to participate in the application of any grant requests that associations may choose to make of any agency or person for financial assistance in the signing of connecting sections and cross-connections. The Lake County Division of Transportation shall not directly accept any funding from these grants. Fees to offset the administration of this chapter as herein provided are not to be construed to be applicable to this section.
