This subchapter establishes requirements for regulating the sale of food and beverages through vending machines; defining vending machine, operator, Health Officer, and other terms; requiring permits for the installation and operation of vending machines; prohibiting the sale of, or possession with intent to sell through vending machines, unsound food or drink; regulating the operation of vending machines; authorizing the inspection of vending machines and operations connected therewith and providing for the enforcement of this subchapter; and the assessment of penalties.
