The current and subsequent edition of the Illinois Food Code, as amended from time to time and promulgated by the Illinois Department of Public Health, is hereby adopted by reference. Additionally, the chapter entitled “Compliance and Enforcement” of the current and subsequent edition of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration model food code, as amended from time to time and promulgated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, is hereby adopted by reference. Three certified copies of the Illinois Food Code shall be on file at the office of the Lake County Clerk.
