(A) Violations. A person who violates any provision of this chapter, or who violates any determination or order of the Lake County Health Department under this chapter, shall be fined not more than $1,000. Each day that a violation exists shall constitute a separate offense. The Lake County State’s Attorney or the Attorney General shall bring such action in the name of the County of Lake or the People of Illinois, or may in addition to other remedies provided in this chapter, bring action for an injunction to restrain such violation.
