(A) General. A valve used in an onsite wastewater treatment system or system component shall be designed and installed as established in this section.
(1) Diversion valves. Diversion valves shall be constructed of PVC and shall be designed with one inlet, divert the flow into two or more outlets, and shall be operated by a single valve control.
(2) Ball or gate valves. Ball valves or gate valves in low pressure distribution pipe shall be constructed of PVC.
(3) Check valves. Check valves, when specified, shall be constructed of PVC.
