A. Prohibited: No cross connections of any nature or description shall be permitted between the sanitary system and the storm sewerage system of any house, premises or building in the village, nor shall any sump pump or drainage system of any nature be cross connected with or between said sanitary and storm systems.
B. Inspections: For the purposes of sections 8-2-8 and 8-2-10 of this chapter, the building commissioner, or such personnel as designated by the village administrator, shall make such inspections and tests at such times as are deemed proper to ascertain compliance with the provisions of this section and the plumbing regulations, title 9, chapter 6 of this code.
C. Penalty: Any person violating any of the provisions of this section shall be liable to a fine of not less than twenty five dollars ($25.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) for the first such offense, and to a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than the maximum provided in section 1-4-1 of this code for each subsequent offense.
