A. Except as otherwise prescribed by law or ordinance, in every existing building not already supplied and in every building hereafter erected where there is human occupancy or employment, there shall be at least one water closet, properly connected with the drainage system.
B. In dwellings and multi-family houses, there shall be at least one separate water closet within each dwelling unit.
C. For places of assembly, there shall be one water closet for every one hundred (100) persons or fraction thereof.
D. In schools and other educational buildings, there shall be at least one water closet for every twenty five (25) persons.
E. In every other building, there shall be at least one water closet for every fifteen (15) occupants.
F. In buildings where more than one water closet is required, except in dwellings and multi-family houses, separate water closets and toilet rooms shall be provided for the sexes. (Ord. 2023-12, 4-25-2023)
