The provisions of this chapter shall apply generally and uniformly to all areas and zoning districts within village. The provisions of this chapter shall also apply cumulatively and simultaneously with the other provisions of this title and the village subdivision regulations and building codes, and no approvals or permits issued pursuant to such regulations or codes shall be deemed to authorize any activity that does not also comply with the applicable provisions of this chapter. Furthermore, if ever a provision of this chapter and another provision in this title or the village subdivision regulations or building codes are inconsistent, provisions resulting in the maximum protection and preservation of bluffs and ravines shall govern, except where limited by law.
