The total surface area of a sign (which is also the sign area of a wall sign or other sign with only 1 face) shall be computed by rounding to the nearest square foot. The total surface area shall not include any supporting framework, bracing, or decorative fence or wall when such elements are clearly incidental to the display itself, unless otherwise specified herein.
