The 2018 edition of the International Building Code, as promulgated and published by the International Code Council, Inc. (“international building code”), is adopted by reference and incorporated as if set forth herein, as modified in section 9-2-3 of this chapter for the purpose of regulating the erection, construction, enlargement, equipment, alteration, repair, moving, removal, demolition, conversion, use, height, area and maintenance of all buildings and structures in the village of Lake Bluff except for single-family detached dwellings and two-family dwellings and all buildings and structures accessory thereto to the extent that such dwellings are expressly regulated by the international residential code, as adopted by the village and amended pursuant to chapter 3 of this title.
