7-1-14: CLEAR VIEW AT INTERSECTIONS:
In order that the view of persons driving along the public streets of the village near the intersections thereof may not be obstructed, nor the usefulness and convenience of such streets impaired, nor the public safety jeopardized thereby, no hedge, wall or fence of any material or consistency which tends or might tend to impair such view shall be constructed or permitted to exist, and no shrubs, bushes, weeds or foliage which tend or might tend to impair such view shall be permitted to exist on any lot or parcel of land within fifty feet (50') of the intersection of the adjacent curb lines of any two (2) streets in the village, of a greater height than four feet (4') above the level of the center of the adjoining street; provided, that a hedge, wall or fence, or shrubs, bushes or foliage exceeding the height fixed in this section may be erected or allowed to exist or maintained on any premises within a diagonal line running from a point on the curb line of one street fifty feet (50') from the intersection of said curb lines to a point on the curb line of the other street equally distant from said intersection.
