6-3-15: ENFORCEMENT; LICENSE REVOCATION OR SUSPENSION:
The chief of police is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to enforce the provisions of this chapter. The chief of police is hereby authorized and empowered to suspend, for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days, or to revoke any license issued under the provisions of this chapter for the violation of any of the provisions of this chapter and to impound for a period of not to exceed thirty (30) days any unregistered or improperly registered bicycle, or the bicycle of any person with which a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter has been committed. The action of the chief of police in suspending or revoking any license or revoking or impounding any bicycle, as provided in this section, shall be conclusive and final. The suspension or revocation of a license or the impounding of a bicycle shall not preclude the prosecution of the offender for the violation of this chapter and the infliction of any other penalty provided herein.
